History Centre Web Cam: See footage of building and construction work as it happens!
The Arts and Heritage Service is currently working towards the creation of a ground-breaking new visitor attraction set to open in 2020. Currently using the working title of the Plymouth History Centre this new venue will showcase the city’s historic collections like never before.
A range of partners are also involved in the project including the South West Film and Television Archive, the South West Image Bank, Peninsula Arts (Plymouth University), the Local Studies Library and the Devonport Naval Heritage Centre.
In order to undertake this development, the Museum and Art Gallery building closed at the end of summer 2016. We are running a number of projects, exhibitions and events throughout our closure period at other venues across the city and beyond.
Keep up to date
