Volunteer with our partner, The Atlantic Project
The Atlantic Project is a pilot for a new international festival of contemporary art, taking place in public contexts and outdoor locations across Plymouth, UK, from 28 September 2018.
The project is currently recruiting a team of volunteer stewards to help audiences enjoy their experience of The Atlantic Project. Volunteers will help provide information to visitors, invigilate artists’ projects and help create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
The festival will run from Friday 28th September though to Sunday 21st October. It will feature new site-specific installations and performances, including sculpture, photography, moving image and participatory events, across a range of public contexts and unusual locations. There is no obligation for volunteers to be in attendance for the whole period of the festival, however and your availability can be accommodated; from the occasional afternoon to multiple days over the three weeks of opening.
Volunteers will be given training and support, as well as travel expenses and a ticket to our opening night event. Donating time to The Atlantic Project is also a great opportunity to meet like-minded people and gain new experiences.
Register your interest to join the volunteer team in September 2018.
