Photograph of a yellow dish with lidWorks from our Plymouth Porcelain collection are on loan to the Cookworthy Museum. This year their exhibition features improvements and developments made by Cookworthy at the Plymouth factory. There is information on his many friends, including John Smeaton, Joshua Reynolds and Samuel Johnson.

Our works are on display alongside those from Kingsbridge’s own collection. Other objects on loan for this exhibition include a dress from the Theatre Royal Plymouth, plus a first edition of Johnson’s famous Dictionary, from Dr Johnson’s House Trust, London.
