William Cookworthy: Pioneer of Porcelain at Cookworthy Museum, Kingsbridge

As part of the build up to the 250th anniversary of William Cookworthy securing a patent to produce the first-ever hard paste porcelain in Britain (March 2018), we are loaning 106 works from our Plymouth Porcelain collection to the Cookworthy Museum in Kingsbridge, Devon. See them on display alongside works from Kingsbridge’s own collection.
