10.30am to 4.30pm Sunday

Come along to our Community Hub at House of Fraser and see an exhibition of inspiring campaigning and celebratory posters from Feminist Archive South’s amazing collection.

These dynamic posters celebrate the activists of the Women’s Liberation Movement (1970-2000) who spoke out and campaigned against discrimination and inequality. They ask us to think: what has been achieved? What is still to be done?

Admission free. No need to book.

‘Politics and Protest: Posters from the Women’s Liberation Movement’ is part of ‘Hatpins to Hashtags’ – an exciting programme of free workshops, events and an exhibition from the Feminist Archive South.

In this centenary year of votes for some women it celebrates women’s activism then, now and in the future and aims to reclaim the tools of democracy to mobilise activism.

The programme has been touring the South West and has already visited Glastonbury, Weston-super-Mare, Bridport and  Taunton. Find out more from the website.
