Elizabethan House - final phaseCommunity Hub, Floor 5, House of Fraser, 40-46 Royal Parade, Plymouth PL1 1DY

A restoration programme is underway at Plymouth’s Elizabethan House and we’re holding a special drop-in event for potential volunteers and other people who may have connections to this historic property.

We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us build a body of research findings, photographs, reminiscences and oral history recordings, all of which will help us to develop the new displays in the house.

If you have good research skills and are interested in being part of our project team, as well as broadening your knowledge of one of Plymouth’s most historic buildings and the Barbican area, why not come along to our drop-in session to find out more?

Are you a descendant of someone who lived in the Elizabethan House? If you think you are and would like to find out more, research your family history or get involved in the project, please come along to our drop-in session too!

Can’t make the drop-in event but would like to be involved?

If you can’t make it on 30 April but would still like to be involved please contact us via email at: [email protected]
